An Interceptor Convertible - rare, heavy, and slow, but now valuable.

I have not seen The Omen for ages. I had forgotten that they go to Rome.

Your mother stuck clocks in the hall!

The Alfetta I saw in the summer is still for sale. I declined when offered it again last week. The seller might take an offer.

The seller wants to ruin the car by making it an 80s style two litre.

The car is very good but needs a better paint job - its current cheap blowover makes it look grot. It also needs some Pirellis.

I am resolved to fix up my Lotus next year, so it's a no from me, but the Alfetta is very worthwhile IMO.

PS: the seller also cheesed me off a bit by suggesting that my Lancia Appia was "one of those three wheeled things", but I wasn't going to buy the Alfetta anyway.

Yes, the car is circa 75 or 76 and has the 1800 engine. I am happy to PM you my views about the car, which are supported by those of a friend who is an engineer and who has tested the car. It needs saving from an engine swap! The car is definitely worth a look and a haggle, in my opinion

We still have your old S1 Daimler Sovereign as well.
I updated its old thread with that fine pic - hope you don't mind.

All cars should have twin headlights.

A Lotus Esprit wins at car because it has twin headlights that are also pop up headlights. I cannot afford a Lotus Esprit.
