I'm liking those seats, and was tempted by the exact same one until a decent second hand option popped up. Will be interested to hear how you get on with the Micro as would still like to get a pair of comp seats in mine.

I flip flopped around looking at all kinds of options but I was quite taken by the colour scheme on these, the VFM is very good as well. I could have gone crazy with different colours and stitching but stuck with the red/black and black back. Should look nice!

Cool build, not my normal sort of car but interesting to see what you're doing smile

Were the seats from GSM? Garreth is a good bloke, price matched my seats when they were listed at a ridiculous price on another website, saved loads smile

Yes they were from GSM. They have been very helpful, answered lots of questions and a good price too. I’d recommend them to anyone, well when the seat arrives I will hehe

Pretty much what I would build if I had the time and money! Top job!

Thanks smile

It’s been a long time and a lot of pain in development but I still love it.

Popped to Honda today to collect the last few trims.

And got the strut brace mounts back from the powdercoater.

Then stopped off at the body shop to see the car, coming along nicely!!

Hopefully just a few weeks. They’re quite quiet at the moment, they think it will be painted this week.

I’m very happy that there is 0 rust under the skirts and bumpers (except the rear crash bar but I can live with that!)

Yeah, they said ‘we don’t normally do full resprays as the customers keep just turning up for a look’ and stared at me hehe

I swiftly departed! Can’t wait to see it all back together!

Last few new shiny bits turned up! New front badge and seals for the rear lights.

And popped in to see the car. Shell is all painted, wet sanded and cut back (I think that’s what he said) just waiting for the bumpers and skirts to be painted and fitted then final badges and decals etc.
