Hi Guys, so little progress report, can't believe its nearly 2 months since the last one, seem to spend lots of time waiting for other people at the moment.

I guess big things are I finally got the coolant pipes made up and fitted, fuel lines, and the fuel tank (should be fitted tomorrow).
Custom wheel spacers with extended studs for the rear.

seem to have a good week and then come to a stand still, not helped by this weather and other toys :-)

Few pictures below of the dummy tank and coolant pipes, and the fuel lines etc etc

Sorry but pistonheads does not seem to like portrait pictures but you get the idea.

Hopefully tank and fuel pump should be fitted tomorrow, then need to order the rad and oil cooler.

Once thats done I suppose I better buy an engine and Gearbox !

Cant believe it was July since I last posted ...
So not a lot of progress over the summer as had other toys to play with and holidays etc etc

Schoolboy error but after finally getting the custom spacers made and the wheels bolted up it was pretty obvious that something was well out of line, as in i needed the spacer one side and not the other ! ..... so threw that toy out the pram and as said above got the others out lol.
In my defence because of how the car is positioned in the garage with the offside up against the wall I have used the nearside for measuring, once bolted up both sides there was circa 40mm difference.
After much measuring it became obvious that the rear subframe was bent / twisted so I had to source another one, get powder coated, and then remove the old one and fit much to my annoyance.
New one now fitted and all appears well .....

After being let down by people promising to deliver next week, next week, next week, and so on I finally found a guy to build my rad and oil cooler unit who told me 2 weeks and delivered on time .... shock horror .... many thanks to BHM compak radiators.

So fuel tank, fuel regulator valve, and fuel lines run ......

Radiator and oil cooler fitted, I had to make a mounting bracket which will also act as an air duct ....
Oil lines are currently in the post so hopefully should get that fitted up in the next week or so weather dependant ...

I have also ordered the biggest expense so far that being the Engine which is currently being built by Andy Jones at Shrigley Engineering.

Im on the look out for a Jack Knight gearbox if anyone has one laying in the shed ....

A few pictures below .....
