Very sexy .

Is it hard to fit or did they do it .

Kind Regards
I did fit it yes with a mate, being on a ramp made it much easier. Its a case of exhaust off, heat shields off then four bolts for the shifter and it’s out. Two new holes need to be drilled to mount the new shifter but it’s all pretty straight forward. Aligning the gears takes the most time but it’s not too difficult!

Fitted some Toyo R888R's to the OZ Superleggera's ready for the next Ring trip in July, tried them out over the sunny weekend and i can report back that they are mega grippy but very very noisy! Oh and some brand new OZ centre caps.

Also fitted a BG Racing 40mm Steering wheel spacer as i felt like the wheel needed to be tad closer to me to make the driving position perfect. Steering wheel is off to Jack at Royal Steering Wheels for a fresh re-trim in Alcantara as the Suede had failed miserably.

Me and a friend in his completely standard GTI engine wise went out today, first time i’ve had the chance to put mine next to a standard one to see if all the money i’ve spent tuning it is really worth it. Turns out it definitely is! Video below

Nicely modified lupo this. Just enough to give it enough menace without looking like it's been crashed into halfords.

Out of interest where did you get the centre caps from?
Thanks! That was the plan from the start smile

This is where i got mine from, 100% genuine.

Recently got a new external mic made by Rode for my Gopro Hero 5, standard Gopro mic is horrendously bad. So I thought i’d give it a quick test.

I haven’t updated this for a while so it’s about time i did. I’ve just got back from the Nürburgring, once again it was an unbelievable trip and truly is the best place in the world for petrol heads. It wasn’t all plain sailing though, on my third lap my clutch decided to give up. Managed to get the car in fifth and and cruise back round off the track. I parked it up back at the house and left it until we left Monday, some how i managed to get it home. Me being me, i picked up a new clutch today and got it fitted in around 4 hours. Drives perfectly now. I’ll leave some pictures below of the trip and how knackered my clutch was!

No real update as of late, just enjoying driving it and taking pictures. The Coolerworx shifter really has transformed the engagement of the car!

So it's been a while since I've updated this, no real changes made to the car as i'm so happy with it at the moment. Just been maintaining and enjoying it as much as possible.

Since the last update I have done another track day at Snetterton where once again the car performed faultlessly and impressed quite a few people, always nice hearing what people think of the car!

Also managed to squeeze another Nurburgring trip in before the end of the year, although the weather wasn't in our favor it was still a brilliant trip. only managed to do 4 laps as the weather wouldn't allow anymore with lots of track closures. I'll leave a load of picture below from the trip and various other drives.

That is such a great group of cars! I genuinely wouldn’t know which to pick!
They certainly are a good bunch, all have been setup well with decent parts! I was lucky to have the keys chucked to me by my mate in the Megane, i’ve always fancied one of these as a next car so i’m glad I did. Although it was fast, it lacked something the Lupo has. It almost felt too easy, like you’d expect it to almost. I got back in the Lupo after and was instantly reminded why i’ve had it so long.

My friend did the same with his well sorted 182. Sold it for a megane 275, did the belts, box & fitted nice tyres with brakes went the ring and sold it as it was too easy and lacked something. Now has a clio 200 and loves it more.
This is my worry if i was to move on to something else. I’m not surprised by him loving the Clio, i’ve drove the one in the pictures several times and always enjoy it. Although the straight line speed is identical to mine, it definitely feels a better chassis and better balance than mine.

Just wow!!!!
I love what you have done especially to the interior!

I also had an Lupo GTI, a black one with heated black leather seats, automatic AC, glass sunroof and factory GPS.
It was an absolute gem, and I wish I haven't sold it now....

Only one thing I would change with yours: A steering wheel with red stitching and 12 o'clock marking to match the rest of the car wink
Thanks for all the comments, they really are unique little cars!

I actually quite like the yellow as it matches the OMP yellow on my harnesses, i think if it was all red it would be a bit much.

Nothing too exciting to update on, just been driving and maintaning the car exactly how it should. I had to replace the alternator a few weeks ago as that decided to fail on me, very easy job to do though luckily. I've also just got myself a brand new set of Nankang AR1's to try on the warmer sunny days and track days. Heard good things about these so looking forward to trying them! Already got a Nurburgring ring trip booked for July and potentially a trip over on easter weekend.

I'll leave a few recent pictures below smile

Decided to chuck the OZ's on today as it's meant to be decent weather the weekend, interested to see what the AR1's are like with a bit of heat in them. Forgot how good they look on the car!

I'm still unsure what set of wheels I prefer laugh

Managed to rack up a good 150 miles on the AR1's the weekend. Safe to say it was a bit too soon to put them on (i'm so impatient). Couldn't get anywhere near enough temperature in them to get them sticky. I'll swap back to the Michelins for another coulle of months I think .

Fresh set of Brembo HC discs fitted today. Decided to try plain discs as the previous EBC slotted discs lost all the slots very quickly after switched to the Ferodo DS1.11’s.
