I have a pre face-lift 2014 1.6 diesel one of these and I love it. Also in panther black.

I much prefer the face-lift interior and grille though like yours, looks great.
Thank you, I prefer the face-lift version as well. How many miles has yours done? Mines not far off 97k now, I have done over 3000 of those in just over months

It was on 56k when I bought it, now on 66.

Looking forward to your updates thumbup
Yours looks nice how long have you had it? I've just noticed my last post doesn't make much sense, it should of course say 2 months not just months, clearly my brain and fingers don't work at the same speed laugh

The Focus had a trip over the Humber Bridge today to Donna Nook, where seals come to mate and have their pups between October and December. Not many seals at the moment. Clicked over 97k on the drive home.

No issues with the floor mats in case anyone wondered. I'm thinking of doing a LEJOG road trip for my 40th in 2027, if it happens the challenge will be to do it in a car costing less than the return train fare. The nearest stations are Penzance and Wick.

In other news I had to renew my driving licence as the photocard was expiring and was expecting a long delay. As I hold bus and class 2 it had to be sent off as you can't do those ones online, but it only took a couple of weeks or so which isn't bad considering the problems at DVLA

Yes I thought so too, let's see how quickly my stepdaughters provisional licence comes.

On the subject of stepdaughters licence, it arrived today. Not bad considering the problems at DVLA.

The Focus is getting another run this weekend, a few days in Northumberland with a trip up to Edinburgh included.

Yeah there are some really nice roads up that way. Stepdaughter isn't 17 until January, though at some point we'll be getting a cheap car for her to learn in as a first car, we feel it will be better for her to have her own insurance policy from day 1 so she is building up her own no claims.

That's a great picture!!!
Thank you, I feel maybe I should have reversed in so the car was looking at the Angel of the North rather than had its back to it though.

Thank you Peanut Gallery, we had a nice drive up the A697 and A68 to Edinburgh, the car seemed to enjoy it too. Not had a deep fried Mars bar though as we had a big cooked breakfast at the B&B.

Been an enjoyable weekend, the Focus did around 600 miles to a tankful of diesel, I forgot to make a note of the mileage before we set off though so not certain exactly how many. Clicked over 98k on the drive home today.

Been out in the snow this morning to rescue Mrs Eyersey after she managed to break a wiper blade off her Corsa. Picture taken when I got home afterwards. Fortunately the wiper clipped back on easier than I expected.

Somehow I managed to break a bit of trim earlier on, I tried superglue but that didn't work. Any ideas what I can use to stick it back down?
