Pictures Of Your Minis!
Discussion
My first ever Mini and car when I was 17, having just passed my test. Here you see it in its usual position.
When I bought it, it was delivered to my door by the dealer with an apparent fresh MOT and full service having just been carried out. The minute I got in the car the seat fell backwards and I put my foot straight through the floor pan ( MOT and service my arse ) but all I could do was grin. Unperturbed, I started it up then proceeded to cane the arse off the thing straight round to a friends house, arriving in a cloud of steam, a strong smell of burnt oil and clutch fluid dripping all over the road.
How it had made those few miles I never know, but it was at that very moment I fell head over heals....God I loved that car !!!
Unfortunately it met its end when some pillock in a Capri decided to smash into the front of it writing it off. Somehow it managed to limp itself home like a loyal wounded puppy taking it's last breath just outside it's home. I admit a tear did roll down my cheek at the time.
Roll on a few years and my Mini today.............in its usual position.

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking here for quite a long time, so thought I would share my Minis with you.
Rover Mini Cooper with S Works Conversion - owned from new, never to be sold:
Here it is with a newer twin, my old 2005 R53 MCS:
I currently have a Pepper White R56 JCW. This might be changed soon for the new F56 JCW. Not sure yet.

Completely impractical cars but they somehow get under your skin. This is my 3rd R56...
Nice! Like the colour scheme. Why do you say impractical?
I ran an R56 Cooper S for 18 months and I found it just about as practical as any other hatchback. Maybe a wee bit smaller, but certainly not something I'd have described as impractical.

Entirely depends on your circumstances I suppose. If you have children I can see a MINI could present pretty major practicality issues. The boot is tiny by almost any comparison. Personally, I'm with you, I find it enough for my needs 99% of the time. But then 1. I'm fairly mini sized myself, and 2. it's only me and the other half to think about. Why do you say impractical?
