Hey everyone

I don’t know if you remember but I got an email a few months back asking if I could do anything for a fellow PH’ers mate who also had a brain tumour. The poor lad in question was called Josh. I managed to take him out in few of my Ferrari’s and I got him to ‘take delivery’ of my TDF.
Well unfortunately he passed away today.
Please just remember that no matter what we have in this world, if we can’t share it with the less fortunate then it doesn’t really make our life’s any richer.
Rest easy Josh.

That poor lad was one day younger than me, that's given me a bit of a punch in the gut.

Rest in Peace Josh, huge credit to you for providing some happiness in his life. You're a good man.

I assume you've read the article about the new LFA's sitting in USA dealers.

I also assume you have already purchased one with delivery only miles, just because you can smile

Are they embargoed until Lexus/Toyota say they can be sold/driven?

I’m calling codswallop. There are a bunch of unsold LFAs at dealerships in the USA but they are standard cars, not some mythical hybrid.

Welcome home, Pete!

Glad you're not leaving us. At least someone's made their mind up on whether they're in or out of Europe. The government could learn a thing or two from you. #Pete4PM

Happy to hear the Lexus is staying in the UK too. #Lexit

So sad and sorry to hear about Josh but happy to know you fulfilled his wish and that he got to live one of his dreams. What a brave fighter. Really puts life into perspective.

Will you bring any of your toys down to London in the near future? Sloane Street swan? Harrods run? It's just the done thing these days, a formality, when you own a supercar. Hope to meet you if you are ever in town.

I know you get loads of emails but please do read some of mine from over the last month if you get a chance.

Have a great year and I hope all goes well with the charities and chariots.

“The Car” for me! An f40 looks so shocking even today, is totally pure, and would be a challenge forever for someone of my driving standard!

All I know is that the rear quarter set alight at Silverstone so it was rebuilt with all new recommissioned parts direct from Modena, then it got Classiche certified with a thick red book of goodness by the guys at Maranello. Looking forward to getting the deal done now.
This year is gonna be a busy car buying year, apologises to everyone on here for the silence but I’m mad busy with my work and lots of charity planning. Also Josh’s death knocked me a fair bit sideways so I kind of went quiet for a bit.
Hopefully back at it now.

Cheers

Pete

Hi Pete.

Is this something that you are involved with this year maybe? https://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/the-supercar-...

Like a fair few of us on here I guess I'm a GRRC member so am keen to get involved in some way, either via Goodwood or whatever arrangements might be in place for 'exhibitors'. It looks like Goodwood have tied it in with their Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club the following day to make a weekend of it.

Only an F40 sounds even more awesome after catching fire. Then getting fully rebuilt.

Any other car would have people not wanting to touch it with a barge pole.

This is once again available...would at least be a good story, and probably one that you could use freely without issues, concerns, etc... (all to a certain degree)

Thoughts on what it would cost at auction?

One of the only cars that actually suits being painted black imo

Not long now until I take delivery of my Pista, just specced my 812SF and I’m just waiting for the final nod from Ferrari about the Monza SP2.
Don’t know whether I’ve shared my Pista pictures but here’s what it’s gonna look like.

Pista looks good, any thoughts on the spec for your SP2 once it’s confirmed? This render I saw on Instagram a while back looks superb
