The Focus had another decent run out yesterday, this time up to the Scottish border, just over 500 miles covered in a day

Come further north!! Forget the borders, get to Glasgow, then through, THEN the roads start! We have brilliant roads up here! (p.s. Please forget the NC 500, those roads are good, but there are better roads and with less tourists)
Yeah I'll have to have a trip further north at some point. I was getting photos around Jedburgh and a few other places

Really racking those miles up Eyersey!!!
I'm not doing as many as I was but that's down to the shorter commute, this year its done around 9000 miles and a lot of that has been on longer journeys

The Focus is booked in at our friendly garage on the 12th April to have a suspension bush renewed that has deteriorated

At the last MOT they said a n/s suspension bush was deteriorating and would need doing within the next few thousand miles, so I don't think it's droplinks

The Focus has had a busy couple of days, went down to the Chiltern Open Air Museum yesterday and over to Tockwith near York today where I drove these beauties, really enjoyed it

I missed a good one in Ivor, would have been 062260, but when I remembered to look it was about 10 miles over!!
We go away for 2 weeks on Monday, it will do over 1000 miles while we are away so may not be able to get a picture of 123456 unfortunately

Good trip down to Torquay today, the Focus did 320 miles on quarter of a tank of diesel. It clicked over 123456 on the way down, no picture unfortunately as we were on the M5 at the time

I’ve read this post from start to finish as I’ve recently purchased a 1.5 tdci Titanium X. Have you had any DPF issues at all during your ownership?
Glad the car is serving you well
Just seen this message, sorry I missed it. No, so far, touch wood, I've had no DPF issues. I think it helps that I try to give the car at least one good run a month to give it chance to clear itself out

We have a later version - economical as it is, there's no way it is doing 1200+ miles to a tank
Oops sorry I meant half a tank, no idea why I put quarter 🤣

We are only a few weeks into ours, but I'm really impressed with the little 1.5
I'm really impressed with mine, done about 30k in just under 3 years in it and it's a lovely car

The Focus is enjoying it's holiday in Torquay, we went over to Tiverton on Tuesday and had a ride on the canal on a horse drawn canal barge, yesterday was at Exmouth and today a butterfly and otter place at Buckfastleigh followed by an old pub that closed in the 60s and was left for 30 years, being saved from demolition and is now a museum.
