Still ongoing niggles with the car - had the rear caliper stick and almost catch fire! It was a new one that i replaced as well so not happy.

On the whole though she's looking purdy:

So this is probably due a bit of an update!

For those of you who peruse SP&L you may have noticed my poor car had a bit of a run in with a bin lorry a few weeks ago. link below. Luckily they've now admitted liability so can get on with getting it sorted out.

This has all come at the worst possible time as I was in the middle of doing a bit of a refresh on the whole car ready for summer and have a million and one other things going on at the moment too. The last year or so since I last updated has basically been a year and a half of trouble free motoring but the suspension has been pretty tired for a while now which was causing the exhaust to drag on the monsterous speed bumps around Bristol tearing it pretty badly. also needs some welding to get it through MOT this year. I'll do a full write up When I get a minute but I cannot believe how much a set of dampers has transformed how the car feels in the bends. Wish I had done it years ago. It's like driving a brand new car (albeit way too firm).

Pics below:

Parked outside its new home with my replacement weekend toy, Triumph Daytona 675.

Moved into my new garage that I did up last summer. So good to have a decent space to work in now.

So fair to say exhaust was pretty shot. been constant construction near where I work for the past year and there's mud and salt everywhere which has really accelerated the corrosion this year frown

Out with the old, in with the new.

Also fitted a new jt but not got any pics of this as of yet.

It's going off to jamsaab to have some welding done and have the bumper fixed from the bin lorry incident, after that roll on summer.

Some more gratuitous pics. Just remembered I fitted a bridge of weir leather interior and also got a decent aux gauge set both at bargain prices.

Good birthday cake last year too haha!

Old set of kilens off of a burnt out 99 that caught fire on a track day two weeks after it was restored
