Twincharged, Wide-arched Convertible Peugeot 405
Discussion
Thought that this was due a small update:
Brake callipers prepped for paint
Painting the shocks
Brake callipers painted
...and lacquered.
Making the metal tube inside the airbag bigger so the shock (with newly-welded coilover sleeve) will fit inside it
Top mounting plate + bearing fitted to airbag
The complete strut
Fitted to car
New steering rack (though seemed to be fitted with incorrect track rods, but I recovered the situation by fitting 306 track rod ends rather than 405 ones).

Sadly crap weather and being busy with work has reduced updates recently
Here's a few photos:
Anti-roll bar painted and fitted:
Sitting on the airbags:
Roof pretty much sat right now:
Mounting frame for the roof:
Roof folded down with roof cover fitted:
Adding strengthening to windscreen frame:
Also looked at fitting a better brake servo than the original, and plumped for one from the 3.0 v6 406 Coupe. Here's a comparison:
It bolts straight in, but sadly the bonnet won't shut when the master cylinder is fitted
Feels scary at the moment as I've cut away a LOT of metal, and haven't added much in the way of replacement yet! Got a lot more to do though. I'll try and post a bit more regularly with updates too.
