Still a good few plans for it, Bumper inserts need to go Gloss Black, Also doing the interior plastics/headliner black. Mirror covers need to be slightly darker to match the roof etc.... But really happy with how it is for now.

Brought the trailer out of hibernation.

Few tiny bits to finish, Fake exhaust, Wiper Blank, Mudflaps and ill prob carpet the bulkhead.

You are correct of course, Maybe I should finance a new Golf instead. Would that appeal more?


Or maybe I already have another car or 3 and the Fiesta is just done for a bit of fun because I can?

Got lucky on eBay, Ford dealer had them listed as damaged stock. (Broken box)

They came on the 30th Anniversary/Celebration Fiestas.

Close, Its KE. UK import, Registered in Kildare (Garage went bust) sold to a dealer in Kerry by auction and then I bought it.

I'm based in North Cork mostly, dont use the car for commuting though.

I remember that you retrofitted the ST side skirts without using the TIgerseal. Can you explain a little more in depth how? I'd like to fit them on mine but I have no idea on how without permanently damaging the body.

Basically an ST has the sill/wing drilled from factory and then little plastic clips (Same as the door card ones) that 'pop' into the sill. Then 3 studs underneath and 3m tape along the edges.

Mine was all drilled the same as an ST, Painted the hole edges and pumped the sills with waxoil at the same time.

Hadn't planned on posting the next bits until it was finished but, It failed the NCT (Irish MOT) on 1 of the rear brake lines......

So the only obvious thing to do was completely strip the car underneath including dropping the rear beam and diesel tank.

Nearly back together again.
