I ended up with a free weekend so managed to service the car and change the front brake pads
Iv covered 1700 miles in the car in the last week so I wanted it doing sooner than later as iv gone over the 7k mile mark that I always service it by. Iv only gone about 300 miles over so I'm not too fussed.
I went with the usual Millers NT+ 10W 50 and filters etc from Spyder Perfomrnace
The front brake pads were looking pretty low too so I did them at the same time
Here you can see the old vs new brake pads

I attended a local track day at Three sisters in Wigan, Its only a small track so my expectations were low. However, I was pleasantly surprised as it was a really enjoyable track to drive around. There was a good mix of cars, varied from fully restored MK1 Fiesta all the way to a new Lotus Emira (still one of my favourite cars at the moment).
In other news, if your mate buys a 4WD pickuptruck, I don't recommend going green laning after work to see how capable it is - it results in being stuck for ours and being rescued by a landrover
I then spent the weekend changing the front suspension on a E91 335D. The spring had snapped so it was a good excuse to change everything. Im not a BMW guy at all but im a massive fan of the 335D, it can get 50MPG on the motorway and its still quicker than most cars on the road. I think if I end up needing a practical estate then a 335D will be my first choice

Went to the monthly cars and coffee this weekend in Liverpool, yet again it was a great event - highly recommend it for anyone local. Each month has a good variety of different cars. See a few of my favorites below
In preparation of moving into my own house I've also bought something that iv dreamt of for years - a table coffee table made from a jag V12. You can tell I'm gonna be living alone
Project for summer will be a garage build for the new house
