That is a very fine looking MR2, and it must be a blast with the supercharger. I do miss mine, but onwards and upwards...

Nice looking car - I like that colour.
Did you buy it like that, or have it painted?
It is the original colour (Medium Red Pearl, aka Mica Red) and I have had nothing done to the paintwork.
My first one in the 1990’s was a 3 year old white T Bar.

My second many years later was a dark blue T Bar and I have owned this one (hard top) for about 6 or 7 years. As far as I know it is the only original Mica Red supercharger in the U.K., although there was a Mica red conversion from and N/a. There are also very few mica red cars let alone SC.

Yes, it is lovely but the N/a was at least as much fun, the power comes in at different revs from the SC and possibly more usable.
It is a very much loved car though.

I do like your eclectic taste in cars, always interesting.

Ha! Cheers! Interesting is one word for it. Foolhardy is another! I often reflect that, instead of having a revolving group of downmarket to midmarket shonky boxes, I could have one super primo classic car, but that just wouldn't be as much fun, er, maybe....
