I'm not sure what your super car will weigh, but my two ton RS 6 is almost too quick to comprehend on public roads, you don't approach a corner, or object, you've already gone way past it.
Any details of what MRC has done to that engine? Its got a lovely torque curve that only looks like it starting to fall off after 7K. With a little more aggressive cams and maybe a little more boost in the top end i could see it holding that torque all the way out to 8k. Here's a graph of MRC's 1,055BHP tuned example.
