Drivers seat bolster is looking a bit tired.

Look up Capital Seating to get some replacement foams.

Did them on my DC2 & they are very good

Its not the best but the photo makes it look worse than it is. Will probably swap it out for a fixed bucket at some point anyway. Then give it a refresh and store it.

Careful with harnesses on Recaro SR3s or any recliners - the recliner mechs tend to snap in big crashes.

Any link or source to that happening? I ask as a couple of friends have standard Recaros in their cars with harnesses for tracks.

Not the same car, seats or even make of seats but here is what happened to a fellow MK1 RS owner who was using harnesses on his sparco seats.

Worth checking it out for sure

I did read a recaro product info page that said suitable for use with 4 point harnesses. What they mean by that i'm not sure! I never wear the harness on the road only on track. Although not ideal I do think there is much less risk of a accident causing the seats to snap on the track than road.

Yes there are videos on youtube, also if you check with the harness manufacturers they will state the same thing.

That is horrendous. Poor chap, I wonder of that seat is weaker than a Recaro trendline at all. It doesn't look very well manufactured.

I think the DC5 looks really good in that blue. I've seen a few other Honda Type-R's that were specced in that colour and makes a change over seeing Championship White all the time!

If you've got any questions RS250 related, feel free to PM me.
If you're on Facebook I would join some of the Megane RS groups, also if you're on Instagram look up "performance only cars" he's on youtube, and deals with a lot of RS'. He's currently got a 250, and a charged DC5 so may be worth a PX deal?

Skip to 00:45 - exact same seats. End of the day you need to ask how much trust you put in the little teeth on the gears in that recliner mech, especially after 20 odd years.

On a DC5 ad you 100% need to be including pics of the rear arches, boot floor, and underside too.

I had mine done in 2014 in full alcantara and I think it was £150. I might get another one done in red alcantara for some craziness.
