1975 (1973) Lancia 2000 HF Coupe
Discussion
I omitted to mention that this car has a huuuuuuuge boot. The full sized spare wheel sits on the right hand side of the boot and is easy to get to. The rest of the boot can hold sufficient luggage for those who like to blat across Europe, equipped for everything from louche lolling on a yacht to dinner with a dowager duchess. Also you can actually sit in the back seats without having to eat your knees.
Old Lancia World is splendidly old school. Parts for my Appia are sent with invoices - none of that payment up front vulgarity. I can borrow a hub tool from the Flavia Consortium, but I am asked to send a cheque, that gets torn up once I have returned the tool. The problem is that I cannot recall when I last saw a cheque and nobody I know still has a cheque book!

Fab car BV!FYI I still have a chequebook. I write a cheque, once a month, for my kids (boys, 10 and 9). They have lockable petty cash boxes, one each. They are obsessed with them!
Thus far they both have over £2,000,000 each in cheques.
This sensible review of the earlier version with a carb engine gives you an idea of what well put together machines these late Flavia/2000s are.
