I love these and they look so right on the road.
I was looking forward to seeing the grey wheels!
They are definitely a car that is well suited to UK roads - people either "get them" or they don't, Lotus owners do, Porsche owners often do not understand why you did not buy a PorscheI was looking forward to seeing the grey wheels!
They are fun at all speeds, do the daily trundling around without problem but love being thrown down a damp, badly surfaced country road too - not sure if there is anything like it out there - the Emira is much bigger (10cm wider and 23cm longer) and heavier (300kg is a lot), possibly the GR86 is most similar in thinking

OP, got to say yours is the best-looking Alpine I've seen yet. That side profile with the new wheels looks absolutely phenomenal. Perfect colour, wheel size and stance.
Thank you, trying to take the less is more approach with it. Still debating whether to go for AST coilovers, dont think the appearance needs to change any more Edited by Andy665 on Tuesday 30th April 23:50
Short notice trip with two fellow A110 owners to the Elan Valley and then out to Aberystwyth via National Cycle Route 81, no moving footage as did not have time to prepare properly but great day out - 220 miles covered at 35mpg and a lot of great roads covered which really allowed the cars to shine

Awesome report and pictures. I so want one of these cars - will happen one day hopefully! Agree comments v Lotus and Porsche owners. Lotus owners are in a similar boat to Alpine owners having forsaken the German default option and gone "leftfield". I am sure they appreciate the attention to weight saving and the ride quality too! Porsche owners are a funny bunch IMO. Incredibly defensive of anything which is seen as a competitor to their beloved piece of prized German engineering, which is strange in a way, because the Alpine I would have thought is the sort of car your average Cayman owner would really enjoy!
Brilliant couple of days over the weekend with the A110 on the roads that seem tailor made for it - Welsh ones.
Down from Shropshire to Forest of Dean on Friday evening to stay at a wonderful little campsite and putting us close to the main meeting point with others on Saturday morning
Saturday morning dawned and looked like it was indeed going to stay dry, over to Abergavenny for an 8am meet up with approx 20 other cars, a real eclectic mix, Yaris GR, AMG GTR, i30N, multiple M135 / 140 / 240 and M2s, Seat Leon Cupras, Megane RS, R53 Cooper S, Guilia Quadrifoglio, strangely. no Porsche or Lotus presence.
What followed was a very spirited drive of 265 miles through the Brecon Beacons, around the Elan Valley and up to North Wales to an overnight stay in Conwy. Quick shower and a lager shandy then off to sample the olde worlde charm of Llandudno and fish and chips
Sunday morning was a 70 mile route from Conwy through the Llanberis Pass and finishing at Zipworld in Betws y Coed
As I expected the A110 was faultless, acquitting itself extremely well with the added bonus of 34mpg despite driven reasonably quickly and on roads that are not really conducive to economy
The more I drive this car the more I think its a really intelligently engineered car, beautifully balanced, economical. practical enough, comfortable and more than quick enough - did I choose the right car - for me, without a doubt

Nice car and log, and it's really refreshing to see an owner protecting thr body of a new car. It makes a huge difference over the long term.
I bought it as a long term keeper so its a bit of a no brainer to protect it as best I can - agree though that most people would not bother. Little things like ensuring all fittings I remove have anti-seize applied before putting back in place will hopefully make it easier in the long term Andy665 said:

Is that French Racing Blue? I noticed on the Alpine configurator quite a few of the colours have disappeared, there used to be loads of them.
Is there any way to get Android auto on the old ICE?

Not sure whether you can get Android Auto on the old audio system or not to be honest, never had the need to investigate as mine has it as standard

When Alpine introduced these special Atelier Alpine colors I think there were something like 29 different colors available. Alpine also said that once they've sold 110 of a specific color, then that color would no longer be available. That is why there are less Atelier Alpine colors available at the moment than in the beginning.
Nearly right - there is always a range of Atelier colour options but once 110 have been made in that colour its retired and replaced with another one- quite a clever ideaAndy665 said:

I haven't noticed Alpine bringing in new Atelier Alpine colours. What is the source of that information? Like I said I think there were something like 29 in the beginning, now there seem to be 12 remaining on the configurator. They did however introduce three different Atelier Alpine racing liveries in 2023 which look like this:

When I ordered mine I was shown the Atelier colours available in a drawer in the showroom and was told that as some were retired others were brought in. Apparently not shown in brochures but selectable / viewable at dealers. No idea if I was given accurate info or not - no way was I paying nearly £5k for a colour, the amount for pearl white was already hard to stomachThey did however introduce three different Atelier Alpine racing liveries in 2023 which look like this:
