The 126s look fantastic on the E65s
They do, but so do the Style 149s haha wink

There are a few sets of 126s out there currently, but they’ll all need a full refurb as they’re disgusting, but the asking prices, IMO are too high!

Currently, it makes sense to stick with the freshly refurbed 149s and just get one size wider tyres smile

Toying with the idea... Lovely car; just not for me unfortunately. Can't get on with the diesel...

It's a tentative idea currently; if/when I genuinely put effort into selling it, it'll be listed on the classifieds section and relevant BMW forums...

Why do you ask; you on the look out for one of these land barges?

I've found this. I've never really come to like any car with a diesel engine, no matter how great the rest of the car is. A 7 series/S-Class/XJ with a proper engine feels special, with a diesel engine it just feels like a nice repmobile. Not as bad as with something like a 520d but the engine really is the poo in the punchbowl.

It has always crossed my mind, especially with a lanky 16 year old!

Haha; well as 6ft 4 and 22 stone (competitive powerlifter) I've bags of room; my brother drove it (he's 6ft 2) and I sat behind him and had zero issues fore leg space; they're that roomy and this is the Sport SWB model! biggrin

I've sent you a PM/email FYI

Totally understandable. My old S80 d5 I liked but never loved. It was a comfy old bus that went well for it's size, but never a long termer.

Agree and I've had a few diesels...they are so difficult to love if you love petrol engines. Great as a tool to do a job but they are hard to get attached to for me.

All new inner tie rods, track rod ends, necessary boots fitted and steering alignment all sorted, car handles superbly...

Off up to Scotland on Sunday, so this’ll be the first time I’ve properly stretched it’s legs since buying it!

Quick swap around of the alloys & tyres this morning

Off have come the Style 93s and winter tyres; back on are the Style 149s and summer tyres wink

It's far too warm to be running winters

Haha yeah; fortunately I'm away for a few days, so the car won't be moving smile

Have you still got the E65? How's it going? Looking for my first barge and they are excellent value for money.

Yours looks fantastic, it's difficult to find one in an interesting colour.

If you are thinking of selling, please let me know.
