What’s your favourite? For me:

Back to the Future - fantastic album
Top Gun (the first one) - 80s rock perfection
Grease - just as good as the movie and such variety
Any of the first six Star Trek soundtracks
St Elmo’s Fire - John Parr - leagues ahead of a terrible film

Over to you…

Thomas Newman's work on Road To Perdition ticks a lot of boxes, as does Hans Zimmer's on Interstellar.

However, Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings trilogy was a masterpiece.

I am not sure it strictly qualifies - but The War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne was pretty good.

The opening track on the original The Taking of Pelham 123. Great film, and this is a really cool opening.
