Little blue Skoda
Discussion
Thanks for the comments.
The rears doors were done by the previous owner but I will probably just have a look to be sure.
A remap is on the cards, I recently had a 330d done at Viesu in the west mids, so I'll see what they can do.
I looked at some normal VRS and I was put off by the seats. A real shame (who signed off white cloth at Skoda!)
The armrest, it's not a Skoda part, it's made by Armster. However every SE I saw had them fitted. TBH it lets the interior down, it's nice to use but it's thin plastic and it squeaks.
I've joined Briskoda and will update that register.

Also, before the wind and rain seriously hits, pop the rear door cards off and reseal the door membranes. Otherwise you'll get puddles in the rear footwells.
Don't bother with mastic/silicone.Use that aluminium foil tape, drill drain holes at the low point and paint the bare metal.

Considered one of these myself. Looks a nice car, a friend took me out in his and I was impressed. What is it like finding clean examples? I'll be looking for a new motor in about two years.
Its pretty easy to find a good one out there! Residual values (for SE models especially, like above) are ridiculous. Have seen 7 year old models fetching £9k!!! But a decent normal one can be found for between £3-5k. Quite a few modified examples out there too, i'd steer clear of those. Just check the service history, how often the oil's been changed, when the cambelt was done and listen for suspension knocks. Other than that, you should be fine!Just a small update..
The radios in these are well known for being ste.
After pulling off it usually ended up looking like this.
The offending parts...
So out it came...
Replaced with this, out of a Skoda Superb. Why the VRS didn't have this as standard is anyone's guess??
Much better sound, looks and build quality.
