Granted, I've only had it a few days, but I'm proper pleased with my find in a Morrisons Customer's Ads board:

Audi A4, R plate, 1.9 TDi, 95k, FSH, first Audi then VAG Specialist, one owner from new. It's base spec, so no aircon and a tapedeck to rock my dodgy pirated copies of the Essential Mix on and has the inevitable corner scuffs associated with an ageing non-petrolhead owner. Tyres look to have 10k left in them, but on the downside tax is in January and MOT in February. Still, should be an excellent winter alternative to my Caterham.

Pic to follow.

Any other PHers got/had a genuine bargain shed?

Dammit - talk about typing in a rush before leaving the office...

Yeah - I'd hope £900 is considered a bargain.

Finally got round to putting the info into Autotrader: Audi, A4, Estate, Manual, less than 100k miles, too see what prices come up. Genuinely looks like I got a deal then - nothing close really. Was a proper spur off the moment decision to go and look.

I have to admit, reading SOTW and dreaming about what could be is one of my favourite games.

The Satria sounds like a little cracker for the cash. Handling by Lotus is appealling, but I just had a quick skim of Parkers and it's about one of the most biased "reviews" I've read. The GTi running costs get 1/2 a star, yet a mid-90's Impreza, with it's sub 30's mpg gets 3 1/2. That, and other ill thought out comments clearly point to it being written by a moron.
