Here is my new Integra. Bought from a lady owner who has owned it for the past 6 years. She has kept it in great condition, don't even think she used vtec much. yes
It's got a great service history and has just had one including timing belt. It has done around 127,000 miles which isn't too bad for a DC2. There isn't any rear arch rust, gearbox is tight and gear changes are very addictive, vtec kicks in fine at around 6k rpm all the way to 9k rpm. Seats have been re-bolstered, slight wear on the alcantara but so there should at 127k miles.

Jobs to do; try and fix slight pink doors, boot and roof (not sure this is possible with this paint). Re-paint rocker cover, change tyres to Bridgestone Potenzas and possibly install spoon exhaust/manifold with a re-map. Fit fresh red Honda badges.

What's it like to drive? Well coming from a very laggish Is200 Sport, bloody great! I thought the power would be all or nothing but it's low weight gets the car shifting off the mark very swiftly and even without unleashing hell at 6k rpm I still think it would be a quick car. It's steering is a bit 'loose' at slow speeds, but superb around fast bends, the grip from the LSD is something else feels like you can go whatever mph you like around roundabouts, easy. Brakes feel like a race car set up, really nice high pedal and they shave off the speed instantly, which gives you a lot of confidence when using vtec around country bends. The pedal arrangement is also ideal for heal n toe too!

I was expecting a relatively raw feel driving this for the first time, lots of noise, stiff pedals, juddering suspension etc. But no it's comfortable, quiet, no squeaks, not rattles. Even my girlfriend likes driving it. Of course I didn't buy it for driving to the shops in, I needed something to replace my 205 GTI whilst it's getting ready for some minor restoration.

I think there are comparable characteristics to the GTI, light, lively rear end, rev hungry engine. Not sure which I prefer yet. Maybe I need more driving time driving

Thanks for the kind comments.
I know I'm lucky to have one in such good nick, but I've been looking (& looking for spare change) for months.
I'm surprised how many people like the red, I was unsure at first. I really wanted the classic championship white with red seats, but this was too good to miss and is quickly growing on me!

I like rare cars in rare colours!
