Hi all, been a while since I'v posted on here, this is my most recent purchase bought it in November, I'm 22 years old, and quickest car to date was a Diesel Volkswagon with 150bhp, so this is my first proper car.

I was in the market for a new car after graduating with a Few options such as R32 Golfs, MK5 Golf Gti's and ended up buying one of these, as I'v always had a thing for Integra's but never actually considered buying one, as you would expect for an old Honda, it's a loud and uncomfortable commuter, but I quite like it.

It's a 2002 model, with a few upgrades such as BC Racing coilovers, AEM intake, DC Sports exhaust, and a few other little bits.

I'v done a fair bit to it since purchasing, first of was a full service, gearbox selector change for 3rd gear, new excedy clutch, braided brake lines, and some good brake fluid. Aswell as changing the cheap sunny tyres it came on for some decent rubber in the name of Bridgestone Potenza's.

For those not aware what these cars are, it's a Japanese import as they were never available in the UK, It's a FWD 2.0 NA Hot Hatch, this one making around 240bhp, they are fairly light weight cars weighing <1200kgs.

Very nice mate, I like the DC5 in blue a lot.

Can't really tell from the pictures, are they the blue Recaros inside?
Correct yes they are, Factory blue Recaro's, don't really have a proper picture of them.

The gear extender has been taken off since.

Very nice

I've got an MR EP3 with the red/black premier recaros. Great seats!
I love them but hate getting in and out of them when cars are parked next to me, and they're really tight when i'm wearing a coat, besides that they're brilliant.

It's a brilliant drive and a very good track day slag which is hopefully where it will live - did you choose RE002 Adrenaline ? They're cheap and work well on that chassis I believe.
It will be on track very soon, that's what I'm slowly getting it ready for. I went for the S001's which I believe are a newer revision of the REO5OA which originally came on the car.

Tried buying one of these s few years back as a cheap track toy but som many were a bit un-loved to say the least. Yours looks very tidy however and you probably won't lose much (if any) in depreciation smile
They also rot pretty badly in the inner rear arches, fuel filler area and rear valance as well if they haven't been properly under sealed. I had the rear bumper taken off our one and all the hangers were just rotten and hanging off. That's why we decided to get shot and would have kept it if it weren't for that.

This looks likes a really nice one, but I'd be keeping a close eye on those bits.
You're correct they do suffer from rust, as IIRC Japan don't seal their car in anyway as their road don't have salt, I checked this over properly. not a patch of rust, When I had the clutch done, we were going to underseal the underside of the car, to my surprise it had already been done, and I wash the underside and arches thoroughly every time I clean my car.
