Midnight purple has always been known for being the best colour in any Skyline. But nothing beats the Hue and rarity Midnight Purple 3 under the right lights. Something i discovered with my own car in a muti story car park. Enjoy

I've always thought Bayside Blue with gold Volk TE37's for an R34 GTR, but you are right, MP3 looks stunning in those pics!
This Combo is also stunning but is so overused they built 2879 Bayside Blue R34 GTR and I think 2000 of them you have seen have Gold TE37's lol

Being that only 198 factory Midnight Purple 3 cars were ever produced back in 2000 its a very rare colour indeed. Of that, only 66 of them were Non-v-spec cars which mine is one.

Awesome.

Someone who passes me on the country lanes going to work (passes in opposite direction) has a white R34. It sounds friggin apocalyptic! So good.
Nothing beats the sound of an RB26 especially with a Tomei titanium exhaust...

What's the spec / mods?

Details, we need details....
Not too exciting tbh. I want to keep the car as original as i can bar some bolt on mods. It has a few things bar the cosmetic stuff you can see ( wheels, nismo aero kit carbon spoiler blade, lowered)
Has Tomei titanium exhaust, Hks filters and thats it. Oh and also a lovley 180KMH speed restrictor in place. Im waiting on my titanium downpipe then ill get it mapped.
The car does sound the berrys though....

absolutely beautiful car. it deserves a proper jdm set of wheels. I had those rotas on the wifes lexus and their made of chocolate. all four cracked. although I presume your a more capable driver and don't aim for potholes
Never had that problem with any of the Rota wheels iv had. Plus these wheels suit the car to a tee as they exact replicas of the Nismo wheels.

perhaps it's the ste irish roads the last two cars I've had them on they have cracked.both were on 235/40 rubber I agree the rotas look the part I just think a car of that caliber deserves more than replica wheels.
Maybe, but i couldnt justify paying double the price for effectivly the same wheel but Nismo stamped on them. The Rotas are still just as light and look just as good. It meant with the change i saved i bought a titanium exhaust :-)

MNP3 is very exspensive paint. Around £350 per liter just for the paint.

Your car is/was just normal MNP1 MNP2 is a pearl like MNP3 but is darker and has a green tinge to it

It was MNP2 when I bought it LOL
There are many shades of MNP1 you might have been confused with one of the shades avalible. But deff MNP1

MNP2 and 3 both have a special tinter which goes in the top coat which gives it the flip to bronze and green or bronze and blue

Yours just looks too much purple mettalic but id need to see it from a diffrent angle. Still a lovley looking 33 though.

how many litres does it typically take to paint a car?
Depending on car size but 3.5 liters to paint a skyline. But thats of each coat, primer, base coat and pearl top coat. However its the base and top coat which is the expensive bit.
