My car history is long and extensive everything from mk1 escorts(Cosworth engine) to V10 rs6 to a 1971 fiat 500 and everything in between. I have always had a soft spot for the Mitsubishi evo6 after spending many hours watching 80s group b's to McRae in his Subaru and Makkinen in his Evo6.So I bit the bullet and bought my first evo6.
The story of the car is it was left in a showroom in Japan unregistered until 2003
Lightly used And came into the country in 2015 as grade 4.5 car with 36000 miles on it
It then passed ownership To an enthusiast who lavished money on getting it to a near perfect standard . He then wrapped it in Blue as he always wanted a blue Evo.I guess its preserving the paintwork underneath. I plan on a European road trip in it just a bit worried about the mileage going up.

Yes its pretty tidy. And the red tme would be the cherry on the top but with the same miles and condition I would need 40k

Looks stunning - beautiful car OP - don't worry about putting miles on it - use it like it was designed for and enjoy it. No point keeping low mileage for the next owner
You have a point about the mileage ha ha

I'll never forget the first time I went in one of these. Looks awesome.

Drive and drive! Who cares about miles? Memories aren't made with it sat unused. Enjoy!
Your right and I have now booked a trip to Germany so will be putting some miles on it smile

Some great replies.I won't be using it in the winter unless it's a cold dry day.Turbos do work well in the cold. And I think I can afford to put the 2000 miles a year on it.Its would still be a low mileage example at 50k and what with the wrap on protecting the paintwork. As for the road trip off to Germany in April hope for some decent weather but most of all a decent drive.Your red 5 looks great and I am looking forward to some meets local to West Midlands.

Yes I intend to use the car but I will be keeping the mileage low.Geoff has now had 13 evos and he regards this as the cleanest one he has owned.I have seen his others so it's testament to this car. There are very few evo6's out there that are in an unrestored condition and not plastered in thick black underseal as clean. So it would be a crying shame if I don't keep it so during my ownership.
