devastatingly interesting. 1.9dti. very proud. will eventualy have compomotive five spokes and more boooost. just took some pictures of it up the mines. using long exposure and torchlight.

realy want a volvo 240 but have grown atached to this french barge. my second non land rover car.

700quid but now i think ive finaly got it sorted after a new alternator, tensioner, gearbox, filters and fluids, cambelt, discs and pads. and respraying and clearcoating bits were the taxi sign had been. intend to keep it if and when project 240 comes along. thankfully have either done it myself or used a good mechanic for lift ect. so no horrific reno dealer bills. no other plans subtletey is king. just a few tricks for oomph.

125k. wind up? is it my liking of volvo 240's and amazing writing skills, or your inability to detect sarcasm? although i do want a turbo brick. i was hoping someone would pick up on the compomotives thing. i think theyd set it off nicley but allso worry about it looking like a wannabe touring car. or worse. a barrymobile.

yes there off a lotus and arent white compomotives but similar. sort of.

yummy hubcaps. think it would look great not 100percent about it tho.

no denton. i genuinley want a volvo 240 with a B23F+T. and the laguna is the best barge i could buy cost effectivley and run into school every day and still be a little bit, maybe quite a little bit cool.

actually like my turbo diesel power. and will tweak the boost a few psi. realisticaly i wil never achieve huge amounts of anything. ive had some good b-road fun out of it. would have it over all petrol variants exept the quad cam v6. but then id have to murder my parents and sell the house to pay for fuel. might have to anyway.

How's this going?

Its gone, got the 240 I wanted and didnt keep the laguna. I always thought they looked better than other cars of a similar age and it had moderatly acceptable amounts of handling ability but it was french. It was too much work for something fairly mundane and boring. It was horrible to work on it was as if the people designing it had no logic. In the end I wanted to spend my money on something diffrent and not on all the things that fell off. Sometimes litiraly. And then have to endure the horrors of fixing it. Id still get the 24valve V6 one though. Cheers
