I like too. but i do prefer the ST - mind you i did have an Electric Orange ST. Can't beat the 5 pot grumble.

Liking the new RS...

No doubt the RS will be a huge success due to the following that Ford have but am wondering if it will fall into the hole that lies between the hot hatches (fwd and 17-20k) VXR,ST,R26,GTI,TypeR and cars such as the S3,EVO X, new STI etc which are 4wd and 25k+

Take the green off the seats though - Recaro Sportster CS, far too nice to be in green!

yeh the vxr`s make a horrible scraping sound when boosting and yes the astra is a good looker in the sort of way its sort of how a hot hatch should look, but the st looks more aggresive. st interior is much better too (dashboard identical to vectra 1.8 life and plastic peels of the gearknob). nice car though but personally prefer the black ones never been into that baby blue sort of blue, they need a darker shade.

ST more agrresive? Have to agree to disagree on that one...but ST interior better no way?

On a positive note I think that blue is the best colour for an Astra VXR

The top of the dash is quite cheap in feel - no argument from me on that TBH, wont know about leather until I've had it a while although it does seem tougher than that used in the MK4 so far

Hence why I went and bought the Sri Turbo 190 - GSI Performance but no duff leather;)
