Here's my 43rd car, my 13th BMW and 3rd M635 CSi.

I have got to try and KEEP this one! rolleyes

It's a 1985 model in Zinnober Red with Anthacite Buffalo Hide.

Wheels are 18" Rondells, 8.5" front and 10" rear.

It has covered 71K miles and not too shabby for a car approaching its 24th birthday!

If you want to sell, I'll be happy to buy!

Stunning looking motor, though I have to admit, I'd be tempted to track down a set of the original BBS wheels to go back on it, they look fantastic!

I'm jealous...

Hi Bob, thanks for your comments. I assume you mean the non-metric BBS split rims?
They would suit the car better and I would love a set but they are crazy money - like £750 each! yikes

Here's a pic of a US M6 with 18" BBS RS split rims.
It was seeing this car on YouTube that made me decide to get another E24.

Fantastic. Clearly there are so many different opinions on what wheels look good, you'd have to have a different set for each day of the week.

How much was it if you don't mind.
About the same price as a new Focus. wink

Personally I think it's amazing value when you consider the styling, condition, hand-built solidity, performance and rarity factors.
Not sure values will go up much in the current climate but I think good examples will hold their money.

A mate owns a 2004 645i and at the rate it's depreciating I reckon by next year my Six will be worth more than his! biggrin

That Highline's lovely and the E31 split rims are spot-on - what colour is it?

It must be one of the best examples left. cool

Martin: your E24 has a nice stance in the photos – makes mine look like Bigfoot! biggrin

Has the suspension been lowered?
