Here are a few pics of my MG Midget, still lives in the UK. Don't get back to drive it much, especially the last year or two - but its great (low speed) fun when I do. Best of all around the windy lanes in Cheshire. Origianlly intended to bring it to Germany but a few trips on the motorway sitting under the wheels of 40 ton trucks put me off.
Thanks for the nice comments.
Thought of ditching the rubber bumpers if I decide to keep the car long term, but if I make it look more sporty then it will need lots of costly mods to make it drive better too.
I did not do the rebuild, bought the car from my brother who was a bit strapped and under pressure from Mrs to sell. Having seen how much work went into it I did't like the idea of him giving it away to some shark, so bought it on a bit of a whim.
Not sure I agree that the chrome sills look naff, they might on a low slung no or chrome bumper car but on this one I think they go quite well.
