1.5 turbo, 0-60 in 7.6 seconds. Doesnt handle as well as the Ibiza Fr or Clio 182 she had before but its a hoot to drive.

Sorry, mate, hoot to drive it may be, but it's ugly. Can I just ask why buy one of these after the Clio and the Ibiza?
Because she wanted a change, didnt do many miles so couldnt justify the diesel (FR) or running costs of 182, this was about the only car that ticked all the boxes like fun, practicality and running costs.

I don't know if they fixed it on the facelift, and maybe the more "sporty" model would be better, but the pre-facelift models are noted for being iffy (squirmy) on bends at motorway speeds, particularly the 5dr models which don't have the rigidity of the 3dr.
Its the Ralliart version which has the stiffened sports suspension. For a high car it handles very well, just not quite as good as her previous cars. If its driven properly its fine.

Fair enough
First time she showed me it at the garage I walked away as I thought it looked crap. Now the more I look at it the more I love it. Its a bit of a marmite car.

Had a bog standard one as a rental this year, dunno the engine size, but it handled really nicely. I did notice the carpet had worn away to the floor metal though (10k miles on the clock, car from Hertz). The OP's car looks good and the performance figures aren't too shabby either.

Out of interest, what's the MPG stats on that ?
Driven normally its getting around 40 mpg. Its more thirsty on the turbo but then thats to be expected.
