Honda Crx JDM 1.5x jap import

Ok so heres my baby. Currently at DNR having an engine conversion to a b16 and the rust on the rear arch fixed.
A little about the car, this engine size and colour was for the jap only market and is very hard to find, it has vtec spec front end as standard. Its a 1.5x dual carb (try telling insurance companies that exsists on a crx!!).
I do have lots of plans for it, aswell as going up the drag strip some more:

how much is the engine conversion costing? would it not have been better to just buy a vtec in the 1st place? they look better too.

nope, the car only cost me four hundred pounds, and the conversion 1,300 so thats under 2k, in what way does the vtec look better? since this 1.5 has all the vtec parts on it (such as bumper/bonnet/headlights/front wings and spoiler etc as the 16v are different) from factory (other than leather interior which i dont care for)?bet its a bit of a go kart to drive, surely better on the twisties than on the drag strip?

Kudos though for keeping an old Honda alive...
well its all of the wiring etc that has to be changed on the 1.5 as it has air con and power steering etc.Kudos though for keeping an old Honda alive...
and everything is being changed so its a good deal to me!

A B16 CRX is a pretty rapid little car which will surprise a lot of people. I'll be upgrading my Del Sol to a B16 or B18C4 next year.

that does seem a lot of money.Perhaps the body parts are the same i as the vtec, i have never really looked that much into detail on those, maybe its the 2 tone look that makes it less appealing to the eyes perhaps? does it sit at the same height as a vtec? i.e same suspension? or the wheels perhaps? there is something that just makes it look less sporty.

I sold that red mr2 to my so called friend for spares,and thankyou since you say youve seen it being driven about at least i can now confirm that the tax disc was indeed stolen from me as it never arrived back to me in the post :-( anyway cant be botherd to worry about thatthe brakes are coming with the engine conversion.

am told the rear arch restoration is now done.
So car should be back with me at the end of January.
Private plate will be paid off aswell crx 692m
and halo headlight conversion done aswell. cant wait. im getting impatient not having a car around!

Lol well at least not a chav eh! Actually I really dont like motorbikes at all! People on the end of the phone would never.know.when they call me! My tattoos mostly stay coverd up when im out though or in.a suit at the office. I dont see customers face face so is all good. Keep gettin told I spund really posh,guess thats what growing up in guildford does!
Some updated pics etc. The car has now been lowerd on meister r coilovers. Its going in at the end of the month for an obd1 conversion. Ive also been drag racing a lot and have my own stand hopefully at motorsport at the palace representing the honda drag series. My racing and project can be followed at www.rexy.moonfruit.com
