Just in case you are a PH'er

Just a friendly hello really, good on ya fella, i enjoyed our little "comparison" along the Dual track into birmingham the other night.

One point though, were you flat out? the reason i ask, is that i wasn't expecting to keep up, the manner of your driving and the leptons we attained suggested that you were, but that said, i was expecting to get my arse handed to me and it didn't happen.

Anyway, see you soon

Tee hee, MX5 eh... Is this a wind up? Although I have seen some hairdressers driving 911s as if they were MX5s

there was a supercharged 1.6 mx5 that suprised everyone at the last lincs hoon

although I didnt get to see much of it, I was out in front with wetwipe having a close examination of my exhaust tips.

I think i've seen that car around Kings Norton...perhaps 6 months ago.

Asian guy driving. Chatted to him at traffic lights. Said it was not a real GT3 just badged and kitted (plus what looked like non standard exhaust). Apparently it's his brother's (who i assume also looks asian...) and that they regularly swapped as his F360 was not suitable for all the driving he did. Seemed like a nice guy.

Might be someone else but explains the lack of performance...

No, it was a white chap, late 30's, we stopped and had a quick chat for a second or two where he guessed correctly that it was turbo'd after that we went seperate ways with a wave and a beep. Nice bloke

Just out of interest but if youve already stopped and chatted to him, enough to know the basic details of the car, and that the owner was a nice chap etc - why post randomly on an internet forum to ask whether he gave it the full beans or not ?

Where is Nervy when you need him eh ?.

you've kinda answered your own question there haven't you.

What are you getting at?

if you can't be constructive, why waste your time posting

Im enjoying this thread..it sums up why i got rid of the Gt3 and bought a 'chipped ' tt..to have enough grunt to avoid racing every tom dick and harry in a souped up 'thing' who wants to have a go.The tt doesnt attract the same attention fortunately and if it does the other person soon realises its a fairly pointless exercise.

Glad i could be of service altho im sure Nervy would have done similar with much more applomb than I could muster.

Agreed KayC im thinking with residuals heading the way they are the 996 Turbos are looking tempting ill be heading the same route in about a year much as id love a GT3. How "souped up" is yours ?, i was hoping the x-50 pack would be enough ...
