Myself and UV are meeting up this Sunday for a quick spin and a spot of lunch at a location be decided. Is anyone else interested in meeting up?

Hi Dave

My brother is visiting, so may be free but depends. Let me know what the plans are anyway.

Cheers

PCGB R19 meet is this Sunday, at a pub called the Bird In Hand, between Reading and Maidenhead on the A4.

I shall be there.... do you guys fancy coming along? I know some great roads round there too.

Bird in Hand is good for me too. My brother is coming down Saturday, so he may turn up in his Seven. Starts at midday I think?

I had a quick look at the site and it would appear to start around midday. Do we need an invite as non-members?

Nah. I have been once before and they were really relaxed. I was in Iguana's old Golf as well. No-one even noticed.

Must say that the PCGB crowd aren't the hellraisers that PHers tend to be (I confused it with a Rotary Club get together, last time I went), but Melv will be popping along and he's a good 'un

Dom. I am utterly, totally flattered at the thought that anyone might consider me a "Hellraiser".

Oh how I wish it were true. Nice cup of tea anyone?

Dom, I'm going along to the Essex meet in my SLR just to see whether it resembles a Rotary Club function - it is being held in a Golf Club....

White with one, please.

And don't spill it on the way to SW1

Don, we know you have got a WKD side, no point trying to hide it. Guard's red is hardly for shy and retiring types

Hmm Melv, what with all the recent political aggro in the club (and it's always been like that - well ever since Roy Gilham left anyway) should you be publicising the perks of your unpaid club role?...after all PCGB members such as me subsidise these through our subscrptions don't we....don't worry I'm not overly concerned - my head isn't that far up my are but I know plenty of people that would be

Melv - I've been there, written the book, printed the T shirts (literally)...all way before the club was as "professional" as it is now and when support from above was in the hands of just one man not a full-time staff, operating out of an old cow shed in Northleach...OK?

Anyway more power to your elbow - I'd love to see the RS register a little more active than it was when Age was running it (and yes I know his work commitments were too heavy for him to continue)
