Why the 997 GT3 is the best car I’ve ever owned.

I'm thinking that after the GT3 at some point ill go down the RS route. So to really feel the change I might go for comfort in the 3 as the RS is going to be an RS. Otherwise id be really changing just for the outside appearance, i doubt id get any better time round a track with an RS compared to a 3 but thats just me.....
If you're going RS later I think that's a really good idea. If you already had a Clubsport car you might fell a little bit 'so what' when you change to the RS - you might even not bother of course, which would save you the odd bean or two! Enjoy the car! Pugsey said:

I think being a bloater is the only thing that presents probs. with these seats. They can go so far forward that I can't even get in them - I'm 6'1" - so I'm sure they'll be OK for you. If you ever come near Odiham (N. Hampshire) you're welcome to try mine.
I don't think it's being a bloater that presents a problem so much as having a pair of shoulders. If you're in any way broad at all, these seats aren't really the best.
I think regardless of bulk, they push your shoulders forwards to anchor you in. I find it ok once I've adjusted and they are a god send on track.
Indeed they are, but I've sat in the 997 ones too and they feel fairly similar to me. I know some bigger people were a bit less happy though. The whole shoulder forwards thing is the main difference though... at least for me.
