How long after the build date before your were able to pick up the car? I've got a build slot at the end of this month, reckon its going to be the longest month!

Think it depends on shipping but mine was just under 4 weeks.

I think a Cayenne facelift has been mentioned here although the expectancy is for 2015MY.

From what I have seen you have to look hard to notice the body changes but potential engine changes (especially if the BiTurbo diesel is wheeled out) could be more interesting.

I would expect the 'facelift' to appear at Geneva in March, with deliveries commencing in the spring. It will no doubt incorporate a number of subtle improvements to keep it at the cutting edge of a competitive market.

There's been a bit in the press about the facelift car already but no firm dates. I guess probably September build next year as a 2015 model.I have just been at my local OPC who have a great spec new Diesel in stock and I'm thinking either go for the new one now or maybe wait 6 months for a facelift car. OPC's trade in figure's a bit below the belt though....I have a 2010 Diesel currently so quite happy to keep for a while longer.
Anyone heard anything more certain?

Custom colour on a Cayenne I see tooling around Media City Dubai. It's not a diesel, but I'm sure won't derail the thread. Think it's Audi Mugello Blue...

That Audi blue on a GT3 would look amazing!

It looks very close to the new Sapphire Blue.

Cayenne year change is, I think, May.

Really? Looks a lot deeper and darker, almost purple.

New MY production begins in June. I guess last of old is May. I hung on this year for a MY14 to get the Carrera Red interior, one of the first off the line in June.

I didn't know there was new colours....

That's not a factory colour, custom colour is not available on Cayenne so it's either been repainted or it's a wrap.

I suspect in Dubai, money no object it probably was factory.

I've gone off the blue one anyway. Looks too X5ish for me. It must be paint your Cayenne day. Here's another colour I've never seen before....

Looks good to me, except no reversing camera. It's an extra £445 on top of the spec you've shown, but believe me it's really handy, and probably something you'll use alot more often than, say, the heated screen (that is unless you don't garage it).

Very good Final spec - you'll be very happy with the car and IMO you'll have no regrets.

I hope Santa delivers on time!

Someone hit mine the other day. 700 miles on the clock. I was in the petrol station fill a petrol can up for the lawn mower

He hit the front wheel wing and down the door. The paint he left has come off( was amazing but it wiped off with my hand, I had the car protected). He got out the car and said he had not hit me, until I pointed out the red stripe on mine, and the black one on his.

I have had a pointless dent man out and it has nearly been put back to perfect. I really did not want to have some paint on it.

I am not sure what to do. If he denies it I might end up 50/50 his word against mine. Lost my no claims etc and premium goes up.

Now the damage is so slight the dent man struggled to see it, but I do find my self looking at it.

Porsche price to repair it was £3400
