That thing was going like the clappers, it was great to watch!
It sure was...I had the pleasure of following it through Old Hall and watching it lifting a front wheel. As ever, this has a lot to do with the driver and Phil Hindley sure knows a thing or two about driving a 911 quickly. mollytherocker said:

Well my lowly C2 manual was there also Molly,
I noticed yours (as you do) and she seems in lovely condition, far cleaner for a start than my old girl, which arrived shockingly filthy.
Yes I did see yours and it was impressively filthy! However, it looks like a good car.I noticed yours (as you do) and she seems in lovely condition, far cleaner for a start than my old girl, which arrived shockingly filthy.

Maybe getting old , but as past 964 RS rep ( PCGB ) it is sad to see all the air cooled RS cars now wrapped up in bubble wrap in their temp controlled garages .....
Ah well .. good memories ...
A dozen of us in RSs, cups and track modded 964s going to Spa and Zandvoort in July....so all is not lost. Ah well .. good memories ...
Well done !!! 12 or 13 years ago a group of 10 of us all with 64 RS did Spa and the Ring with an insane dash between them ! I had slicks in the car !
great memories.
Will have to put up with only mundane press day on Wednesday for the Silverstone Classic in the 993 GT2R ,but will be able to run straight through pipes for added aural benefits .....
Yes remember the days when you often saw another RS on the road to flash your lights at .........
