The speed warning and lane change assist cannot be permanently turned off as far as I’ve found out. I’ve set the programmable button on the steering wheel to turn off sound warning, and each journey I turn off lane assist using the cruise control stock. Pain in the bum.
I suppose that just becomes routine. I am on the verge of potentially buying one an going to ask the dealer regarding this matter.
Went to look at the car today to see the difference in boot space from our current GLE

My 24 E-Hybrid was delivered 2 weeks ago. It had a stop sale for a fuel line clip inspection. Dealer said it was a 10 minute job that may or may not have required a clip to be tightened. done at PDi with no delay.

Lovely car by the way. My first ever Hybrid and very impressive. I was worried about the brake pedal feel after reading some reviews as I didn’t like the Taycan pedal feel I had last year. The pedal feel changed making it feel strange sometimes. No such issue with the Cayenne, oh and no range anxiety! ;-)

If I’d had known about the S E-Hybrid I’d have probably ordered that as I’m always happy to have some more HP.

Do we have any idea what the forthcoming Cayenne GTS will be? V6 or V8 and E-Hybrid or not?

I’m assuming it will be a MY25 coming middle of next year and fill the gap of around 200 HP between the Cayenne Turbo and the S E-Hybrid?

I am weighing up between the hybrid S and the v8 S.

Could anyone give an indication of mpg and range of the v8? Overall / motorway cruise etc.

Had plenty of v8v and thirsty motors before but nothing this big and heavy so trying to understand if the rumble is still worth it.

Really enjoyed our extended test drive in the hybrid non S which was frankly more than quick enough, but with the extra kit and cheaper options can’t help feel the S hybrid has rendered the non S a bit redundant.

I can’t comment on the V8 S but my 2.9 V6 S has averaged 27mpg for the last 25,000 miles, including a lot of short trips. It will do 32mpg on a long motorway run as long as you don’t cruise at 85mph (who would dare try such a thing?!), and range from full usually shows as 580 miles on the computer. I imagine the V8 will be a little worse, but not drastically so based on reviews of the old GTS with effectively the same engine.

Guessing that’s the same engine as in my current gen Macan S. MPG appears about the same, would’ve thought it would’ve been worse than that in a bigger heavier Cayenne

What cruising speed is that?

In my 3.6 V6 GTS I only get 18mpg around town, 25mpg if cruising at 65. And 22mpg if pushing on!

So far (around 1,500 miles) I have averaged 18.2mpg in the S, on longer motorway drives you can get mid 20’s but yeah it’s not great on fuel…

Anyone with a new cayenne e hybrid ? Whats the real world mpg ?
For example if you had a 200 mile round journey setting off with a full battery ?
Currently we have a Macan GTS but been considering a Cayenne
Cheers

Yesterday we did a 91 mile trip in our 2024 e-hybrid. This is what the app is telling me:

Driving time = 2hrs 14 min
Average Speed = 40mph
Distance = 91miles
Avg. Consumption = 50.4 mpg
Zero emmission distance = 54 miles
Avg ev consumption = 2.4mi/kWh

That was with hardly any traffic but with a good mix of A roads and dual carriageway.

I'm quite surprised at the electric range of 54 miles because when I got in the car it was showing 38 miles (100% full) but it varies depending on outside temps and driving style/regen.

Out of interest, what was the electric range left in the vehicle after that trip? Zero I presume?

Also, still no sign of our eHybrid yet. It’s been at the OPC since September

Rumours from a few places saying the December stop hold will be pushed back to Jan. What a cock up from Porsche.

We had zero miles of electric range left at the end of the journey (only just though).

Regarding your September delivery - ours arrived late Sep at the dealership, immediately went on stop sale for the main cable that connects the batteries to something or other, the work was done and we picked it up on the 2nd Oct. Unless there is another stop sale on at the moment I'd be asking questions as to why its not ready.

Yes, bit strange. I’ll drop them a line tomorrow to see where they are up to.

Out of interest what do people use for charging at home (if they bother)? Will the new car charge up over night on the standard cable with a 13amp plug? Or do we really need a 7Kwh charger? It’s our first plug-in.

Production quality is clearly slipping on these modern day Porsches.

Has anyone had a discount on a new Cayenne?

I have booked to see my opc sales person on Saturday and plan to deposit on an S E hybrid.

Can’t particularly be bothered to ring round looking for deals if none to be had..

That sounds really quite good. Might finally get me out of my S Diesel…been waiting for a Hybrid with some decent range. I am guessing the new Panny Hybrid which is released soon will be the same.
