Thanks for all the comments. I'll have to think some more about what to do. Possibly the main problem is that it's just not what I expected when I ordered the car.

For anyone interested, here's a photo of the interior.
Personally, I'd live with it for a month or two at least by which time you'll probably have forgotten what all the fuss was about. All available options to change things will be stupidly expensive. The car is about the driving anyway.

rhodium silver and red seats look great.

excellent complimentary colour combination.

however, the black wheels don't work for me .. it turns the wheels and tyres into a 1 black hole, and the car looks like it has nothing but tyres.

martinday - spec is clearly a very personal thing, but fwiw I think your car looks fantastic. Personally I love the black wheels - I have black Spyder style wheels on my 987 Cayman S and have chosen the black Carrera S wheels for my 981 Boxster S, but agree they're not to everyone's taste!

The c£1k Porsche charge to paint them is a bit eye-watering too...

JT - any reason you didn't go for the PTV system?

I'm not planning on taking it on track, so didn't think it was worth it...although I was tempted. Hoping I don't regret the decision!

I'm sure it will be a case of not missing what you have never had? I opted for it (Cayman) purely because the test car had it and liked the way it handled, so didn't want to think, "ooh, this is different", come delivery day?

I have sort of bksed myself with the options list (around 17k) and I know it will all be lost and some, but hopefully, this car will last me 8-10 years to thin out the depreciation!

Yup, that's what I say. Divide any number by 10 and it doesn't look too bad. People spend more money over a decade by changing their focus for a new registration plate every 3 years...

Haha...hoping I've only paid for one type of seat!

Must be an agonising wait, enjoy when you do finally pick it up...

Just to piss me off even more OPC Leeds have sent me some pics of the car pre PDI. Next week can't come soon enough bounce Intend to keep the car for some time so gone for a totally classic look. Had the silly head on choosing the options but now it's paid for it doesn't hurt much. OK, not AS much. biggrin

Spec below. PCM painted despite the horrendous cost cos I wanted to brighten up the black interior. Initially wanted a Carrera red interior but thought it looked a bit too "rusty red" in the flesh and didn't like it. Was hoping it was a richer, deeper ruby red. Discarded light interiors because of dash reflection and keeping clean issues (dog and denims), two tone didn't really do it for me. Black is boring I suppose but that doesn't stop it looking class. Think I will ask OPC if they do GT Silver mats.

£20k of options and there are another couple I would have liked...madness nuts Still, I justify it all by saying to myself "quality remains after the price is long forgotten". Sometimes it works.

Couldn't see climate in there, remember you don't want to be out specced by a Peugeot 107 wink

I thought that the schools had gone back?

Clearly not, but you should, at least, head back to English for some grammar lessons.
