Yeah, but it's 36psi in the owner's manual for the RS. I wouldn't recommend that necessarily Especially as the rear pressures shoot up if things have got a bit warm in the engine bay.

Leo

Are all tyres the same and same N rating?

Try 36psi COLD all four (and I don't care what is feckin recomended, I ran mine like this for six years with no probs...)

Check alignment. Tweak front camber to -1 degree.

Fit strut brace.

Hot film, chip / Motec -you know it makes sense.

Wear one of Mel's Marvellous Merkins, made from genuine Tibetan yak hair. Beware of cheap imitations, made from Badger Fluff.

When I collected my C4 pressures were 30 front 36 rear(ie 2bar and 2.5 bar)car drove well with little understeer, then reading handbook up't pressure to Porsche suggested readings, could'nt keep the thing in a straight line as it behaved like a skittish new lamb jumping all over the place, reverted back to the existing settings and all seems well, however how this will effect the tyre wear not sure.

"however how this will effect the tyre wear not sure."

It should be better -ran my 944S2 at book presures before I knew better and it wore out the centres of the rears first -a sure sign of over inflation.
