Ultimately its a balance no arguement there and when you get political correctness undermining The Law and not protecting the rights of in this case child rape grooming etc going on for years all around the country and cover ups by Police Social Services Goverment etc then you create the extremist reactions. Turning a blind eye and stating its all load of nonsense dribble etc, is shameful cowardly etc the facts are out there unquestionably. F all to do with the good old days. I am ashamed that this has been allowed to happen. Long term its disasterous for our democracy of all decent law abiding citizens irrespective of colour creed etc.Political correctness is the cradle of Anarchy.
good old days communities existed Coppers new who the villians were and had full support of the Public. Jo public knew who the villians were. what is the order you are reffering to ? prosperous you talking money etc look at stats more children living and being brought up in poverty etc than in the 60s. WTF has this got to do with high end car theft one word Apathy

For 25 years I have parked my RS/GT3 on street and now park my Ferrari on street for the lat 4 years and willl park my new GT3 RS on street as well in London ..... they are my daily drivers .... only once the old GT3 was vandalised but foolishly I parked outside a pub ... so my fault really
I have also parked a ferrari and a maserati on the same street without issue for years. I wonder if classic 911s are stolen more regularly since the rise in values (and parts)?belfry said:

or relatively unsophisticated alarms and probably no trackers. I doubt door locks windows etc are hard to bypass either.MikeBF said:
Sorry to hear about the theft of your car. When I was working in London last year, I'm sure I used to see your car parked in a road near Fulham Broadway and then saw it again near where I was living at the time in SW16. Always used to stop and admire it.
I do hope you get it back unscathed.

Yup - that's the one.
Please spread the word as I am sure it will pop up on some social media post in the future.
Not trying to lay blame in any way shape or form and I realise it's a difficult question to answer on an open forum like this but given these are old cars now and the anti theft tech from the factory was probably useless what extra measures do owners add or install or use to keep these cars from going missing? Please spread the word as I am sure it will pop up on some social media post in the future.

We fitted a Sigma alarm and immobiliser on our 3.2 Carrera, apart from that, I would imagine it is very easy to gain access if you know what you are doing. Mike - really sorry to hear about your car, really hope it turns up.

Sad but Londoners still parking old Porsches on the street are just asking for trouble; little or no choice in some areas of London I know, but assuming no insurance company would provide an agreed valuation if not parked in a locked garage/storage overnight.
I really hope these stolen classics turn up somewhere, but don’t believe any have to date.

Disklok maybe? Removal steering wheel? Removable seat ?? I think these are professional gangs taking these cars, so deterrents won’t be very successful.
