Great pics - thanks.
And thanks for the ride in my old car - fantastic to see and hear it is such rude health.
As to the comments about Cup cars, I've just spent today at the Ring in a Cup car (on a closed circuit track day) - fantastic. The way to go!

Hey Steve,
No worries mate, good to catch up at Spa.
Are you going to buy a Cup Car then?!!

Great Pics Johnny, looks like it was fun!!
I unearthed a 1996 Autocar article on the 993RS the other day if you're interested. It's an interesting read and needless to say the car gets quite a positive right up!!!
PM me if you want me to send you a copy.
Regards
Steve
That would be top!! Thanks. YHM
I was at Spa on the Wednesday, superb weather and a wonderful day. I just wished my Corsas didn't 'give up' after 5 laps
I went on to the 'Ring on the Thursday, boy was it busy, I'd never seen so many spectators there, it was so tempting to give them a show!!!!
Anyone who's never been to Spa.....find the time, a wonderful place and the town of Spa and the Ardennes are a great place to visit so it should please the wife/girlfriend.

I didn't see much of you in the pits at Spa but a whole lot on the track. Did you have fun??
Steve R
Hey Steve, you're not the first one to say that. I did spend a lot of time going 'round the track.
I really enjoyed it. The car put up with it no problem. Really great 2 days.
Johnny...thanks for sharing, got a few questions
1. which brand of tyre are you using?, what was the wear rate like?
2. Are you using standards Pads or are you using Pagids etc., how well did Pads perform i.e. temperature and wear rate.
3. And lastly the type of engine oil that you use.
I just would like to know how the consumables like tyres and pads last on a demanding circuit like Spa.
TIA
Alex
