As a matter of interest, how do 928s drive/handle in comparison to 911s and also 944s and 968s?

Also, how do they compare on running costs?

Like cheburetter said, the 928 is a very neutral handler on all but the tightest of corners where it will push on slightly. Its the kind of car where you can balance in a glorious drift. MUCH harder to do that on a 911, due to the rear weight bias and short wheel base! The 928 pulls good cornering G on original era tyres (Road and Track achieved about 0.87G) although a slightly lower number than the contemporary 944 Turbo. The 928 feels alot smaller than it is.
The 993 TT (which is an unfair comparison I know!) feels alot more agile and composed. I've never reached the limits of the 993s handling (yet?). However the 993TT rides noticeably harsher than the 928 but without as much of the road roar.
