Wonder where they will pitch the GTS price wise with the bigger power etc?
Great result with your S
Sorry, not very clear I lost 4k over 21 months on the S from new. OPC bournemouth that bought it are now advertising over list.Great result with your S
OPC think £1500-2k rise
If the new GTS has Turbo power and a small rise of say £2K I will be very pleasantly surprised. Will potentially sell like hot cakes!
My Mrs has a deposit down on a facelift. This was in April just after reopening and they said she would be getting one of the first allocations in Q3.
They told her the engines were not changing though. I suspect nobody knows for sure at this stage.
The one thing I suspect they got right was the switch to the touch-info system.

I popped into Porsche Silverstone end of April, as was passing, and they'd not long reopened, to see about possibility of getting a new pre-facelift Macan order, as suspected face-lift would be removing the physical buttons. They told her the engines were not changing though. Was told no way to get a free-production slot before factory close down for the change to face lift in August.
They couldn't confirm that the change to heptic touch info panels though, said they hadn't been told that, although guy said, that personally his view was that would likely be true.
He did confirm the dropping of the Turbo model, with the GTS getting the turbo running gear instead, and the S model being upped to current GTS engine spec. He did say some options would now be standard rather than extra cost, I think heated front seats would now be one of the standard spec items?

So, the GTS is going to a 10% price hike, that’s disappointing to be honest.
I wonder where they will pitch the S price wise, as if you look at the torque figures for it (only 22lb ft less than GTS) I do suspect that’s maybe going to be the sweet spot on the Macan 3?

If I still contemplate it later in the year.......it will be an S for me. Obviously, price and options availability dependent...and so on and so forth etc.,etc.
My problem is I've got used to 35mpg average for the past 4 years......and with still uncertainty over annual mileage because of continuing WFH or not depending on Covid, I would be stuffed if I have to start contemplating 500-600 miles week commutes again......
I'll park the bus for 6 months and then see what the situation is like come end of year.

Interesting to read also that it will be sold along side the ev version until the restrictive euro 7 emmissions come into force around 25/26.
It will cease production get it while you can springs to mind?
I wonder if they will do a special final ice edition?
Sounds like the GTS has a touch of that about it, although I suspect they will likely release a GTS performance pack (with more power) or similar towards end of production It will cease production get it while you can springs to mind?

Yep, that's why I'll consider it again in 6 months time, as it will be my last change of car, and it will be the one that I run into the ground seeing me well into retirement, which is only 4/5 years away. It will cease production get it while you can springs to mind?

The heated front seats are already standard. Was told no way to get a free-production slot before factory close down for the change to face lift in August.

Rear heated seats are extra.
I pick my GTS up in a couple of days so getting excited and was lucky to avoid the delays.
After the phone call i've just had with Leicester Service Department i'm not buying another new vehicle from them ever again.
I can't believe how a pretty good sales and service centre a few years ago can go that st but i guess that's what happens when companies like Sytner get involved, company mantra appears to be do as little work as possible, rip the customer off and also assume he's retarded and will gratefully come back for more.

Do you guys expect strong residuals of the facelift given the electric Macan looming?
Booked in with my local OPC to discuss the facelift and potential order.
I'd be stunned if it isn't equally as strong as the outgoing model.Booked in with my local OPC to discuss the facelift and potential order.
Order put in for a GTS today - looking at today's spec on an S with the options we picked made sense picking a GTS instead.
If it goes up £6k we might have to amend the order for an S (unless by coincidence it includes the options we then wanted to add to a GTS) - hopefully will get config and prices soon enough to be able to make a call on that.
Dealer said there are a good half a dozen GTS orders in already with a couple of S.

Had the misfortune of going through Knightsbridge earlier, where one can witness pretty much every SUV on the market, and I must say, the Macan GTS and saw a Macan Turbo too, stood out as the nicest looking of them all. First time I have ever seen a Macan (I don't get out much, and when I do i haven't clocked a Macan before)
As a cayman R owner it made me think if I ever decide an SUV is for me, the Macan would be it....what a stunning looking motor when specced well.

Reading have orders into double figures already, good news is there will be a few more gen2 models up for sale.
A well specced gts will be touching £90k by the sound of it?
I am going into there in August - I don't need the car until next June but was advised to come in early - I am guessing they are anticipating long wait times.A well specced gts will be touching £90k by the sound of it?
