Interesting to see how it runs vs our northern monkey's chariot. Similar figures

Excellent news Martyn...that sounds like enough power for now!
With respect to Doms post above.I think it may well escalate the Vmax arms race to the next level

Martyn, what are the relevant r.p.m.'s for max torque and power?

Is it fair to say you're very pleased with the results then?

When's it due back in the car for a shakedown then?

Can't wait to see a 'fly past'!

Martyn, thanks to your bits and a few other things i am now also using an RS Tuning map (448PS/581NM) and it's a massive change from the standard car. You're going to be grinning from ear to ear for a good long while to come i think.

'Our' Vmax is going to be very interesting...

Stu, max power at 6, 490 and torque at 4, 510 revs. The chart shows 500+ hp from 4, 700 right to the redline.

Will post scanned sheets up soon.

Engine is on the road back from Germany, should get the car back end of this week.

i can't view the dyno sheets on the other forum (not a member of those pages), would someone be able to post a readable link or PM me the sheets..? I'd be really interested to see them cheers (also whats PS and NM in "real" figures. Its too early in the morning down here in 'upside down land' for me to work that out! )

Thanks in advance.

Have mailed you, Buff.

Last night, I dreamt I had gone to Tech 9 to pick up the car. Upon leaving their place I warmed the car up, and gave it some - cue the back end fishtailing up the road. Will dreams become reality?

I do believe this is a common handling trait of the Capri 1.6 Laser...

Oi, watch it, i had a Capri 2.0 Laser (with slightly breathed on engine), taught me loads about rwd handling (or lack thereof in the rain). Bought for £850, sold a year later for £650, cheapest bit of my education!

Only a bit of fun, VS. DeR has been teasing me saying my car has been so long away it will returned as a 1.6 laser Hence his comment.

Did you sport curly locks and roll over the bonnet in a leather coat during your ownership?
