no contest 997TT, especially after putting 30k miles on in a couple of years. How many breakdowns and services will the Fezza have been thru by then???
Oh I dunno - I've done 50,000 miles in my Fezza - runs as sweet as it did when I picked it up.. and that includes loads of track use and euro blasts

Ferrari moved the game on with the F430 but rumour as it that the 997TT is lapping the ring 8-9seconds quicker than the F430 Porsche are testing against.
911's common! My arse their common
Fords, Vauxhalls, citroens, white vans are common.
Most petrol heads will have a look at a 911's when one goes past and I might see up to 5 a day, but other cars are so common you don't even notice them.
I haven't seen one 911 today, seen loads of all the other dross.

With all due respect to MR BEE, I grew tired of 911's 20 years ago. This iteration is just another superficial mechanical/asthetic remake of the same tired story.
With other faster/more exciting alternatives available (Gallardo, F430, Ford GT, Blue Devil C'vette?) any 911 Porsche will be parked in the 2nd row at the Country Club. EVEN if it's 500hp, its still a yawn.
What they should have done was made a $150k version of the Carrera GT...

Not disputing any of that, just saying 911's aren't common in relation to other cars on the road

Do the auto week pictures make it look a little like a cayman...or is it just my eye??
Don't worry, my eyes see it that way too...
To me, it looks the same as the old 911. And the boxter/cayman. And a cayenne with flat tyres.
That's why people say porsches are common. They haven't designed a different looking car since hitler.

What are all these porker haters doing on the forum dissing the latest turbo? Do the porker owners come to the Lotus or jap-import forums to rubbish your sewing machines, or did you get burnt off by a porker TT and haven't got over it yet?
I'll reserve aesthetic judgement until I see the beast in the metal in various colours, but no doubt it'll be at least as astoundingly competent as the 996TT that precedes it.
