while you're at it, throw in some oriental rugs for the foot wells
I'm changing the wheels anyway! The car originally had coloured crests but they've obviously ended up on another car. I'll certainly get some coloured crests though if the new wheels don't have them.

... I may yet decide to go for the Tom Grisham Award (the one they give "To the writer best able to capture Tom's ability to commit crap to print faster than he can think it up".
I believe this is known locally as "The nervous Challenge Cup"

Why are you changing the wheels - they look fab!
I'd possibly be interested if there's a deal to be done and have them on my 996

I'm sure I read somewhere that those 997 wheels won't fit a 996. I could be talking complete and utter rubbish here mind you

That is a seriously good looking car! I think blue sets it off well.......nice colour blue! One of the bestest colours for a Porker.... don't yer think?
is that cobalt blue? god, yes, that is a lovely colour. if only i could get one of those. possibly the only one of those.
Thanks for (most of
) the comments guys!
The Cobalt's rather more "in ya face" than my usual dark blue/dark grey, but I guess rather less boring! I was determined not to get a ubiquitous silver one, and was keen on Basalt until I saw an unwashed one in the car park (I should point out that this is a second hand car, not new).
Those lifts are very cool - until you kerb an alloy on one when reversing a car like happened on Saturday!![](http://www.pistonheads.com/include/images/eek.gif)

I don't think it's 'in yer face' at all...quite restrained really....( seemyprofileforexplanation

I'd say someone who can sell motor like that to a someone who walks into a showroom with no intention to buy one must must be pretty good ...
