Ditto the 1K off. Got above book on the trade in as well so it ended up a bit more sensible than the sticker price - if spending this sort of dosh on a car is ever sensible.
Pic below shows how the temptress greeted me when I walked in ...

PLEASE - change the centre crests for the coloured ones...

I'm changing the wheels anyway! The car originally had coloured crests but they've obviously ended up on another car. I'll certainly get some coloured crests though if the new wheels don't have them.

I like these wheels, with or without coloured crests. The car looks stunning too! I'm only suspicious that Pikey is der Produkt-Manager für Radnabenabdeckungen mit farbigen Porsche Wappen at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG

Why are you changing the wheels - they look fab!

I'd possibly be interested if there's a deal to be done and have them on my 996

I'm sure I read somewhere that those 997 wheels won't fit a 996. I could be talking complete and utter rubbish here mind you . (I DO drive a Tip so it wouldn't be unusual!)

Wow, is that a postless lift it's parked over? How cool is that.

Sorry

That does look rather cool - how does it work then?

Thanks for (most of ) the comments guys!
The Cobalt's rather more "in ya face" than my usual dark blue/dark grey, but I guess rather less boring! I was determined not to get a ubiquitous silver one, and was keen on Basalt until I saw an unwashed one in the car park (I should point out that this is a second hand car, not new).

Those lifts are very cool - until you kerb an alloy on one when reversing a car like happened on Saturday!

I don't think it's 'in yer face' at all...quite restrained really....( seemyprofileforexplanation )

Were you there on Saturday then ?!

I'd say someone who can sell motor like that to a someone who walks into a showroom with no intention to buy one must must be pretty good ...

...only teasing. I used to be his boss; he's a damn sight better now he's cut his hair. Just ask him how his singing lessons are going. Tis a good car, if it's 54ytp then i know it's proper having driven it on a few test drives. Reading make them look like new don't they.
