Oooh, bollox, it's Sat isn't it?
Kept thinking it was a Sunday meet, so can't make it after all
I'm in Nottingham until mid afternoon.
Bugger... sorry to miss you guys.
(Don't worry Rob, there's still some of the PH massive going - and you won't miss Turbofree's car... they didn't make many 993 Turbos in Riviera blue!!!)

Right.
I've got a fax copy of my invite. Looks like the saturday 1pm attendees are to attend at 12.30pm for "nibbles". I am going to aim to get there for midday, to allow for tyre kicking in the car park and my inspecting everyone elses front brake discs (long story, another thread).
Afterwards I am aware of a reasonable Pub about 3 minutes drive away should anyone be interested in a pre-departure Pint and Gas (Pub identified by Rudegirl following an ABD meet at Gaydon in November).
cheers

McNab said: Ah! What joy to live in the hub of the universe! Hope you will be able to reveal the truth to far-distant peasants like me when it's over.

You're bloody right there: I often drive around feeling like Charlton Heston in The Omega Man, i.e. wondering if I'm the only PHer in the down trodden zone!
Awright, Paul? Hope you're diddling ok?
I did mean the locale...to borrow one of my favourite Basildoms, "some of these people have never sat on chairs."
I think I'd better get one of those stickers from Ted so that any right minded individuals oop here can gesticulate accordingly if encountered on the passes where the ferret roams free.
I just hope the BiB are from Madcop's division!

Cracking day out involving driving to and from the venue by a roads as opposed to motorways. Try it sometime...... Have to say I don't think todays endevours will have done my brake discs any good whatsover.

Not sure how much I can say before making a phone call to check on monday. So I'll be a bit vague and only mention what's already in the public domain or personal opinion.
The Baby Aston is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. The front three quarter profile is unmistakably AM. Perfect weight distribution, hand built, not sure if I can mention the proposed performance figures other than to say it should be quicker than the carrera 2, with similar peak torque to the 360. The intention of the factory is clear, to make a serious drivers car. From the style of the car and the proposed performance figures they are definitely on the right track. Of course whatever the proposed power output as a PHer suggestions were made that we'd like to see even more.
Get your letters of intent in boys and girls. This one is on track for being an absolute corker.
Joust and Rich, I think you're going to take delivery of one of these monsters.
In fact a mate of mine who took delivery of a maser last week is going to get a phone call monday morning.

Stricly a two seater. With luggage space that'll take a set of golf clubs and a suitcase.
No comment on price, although discussed it was not in the press release pack, so I feel unable to discuss current thinking behind price level. To some it may be considered a bargain though.
cheers
