If you don't have the mag e-mail me for the phone number..

it may be worth a call to find out why the guy is selling it.
I phoned today about a 2nd hand fabspeed for a C2,it was sold, but the guy felt it was too boomy, which was a great help and may save me some money,,or make me spend more?

sorry Rich, am right in the middle of our mega busy period, so sports exhausts have gone on the back burner !! But the guy with the S/H system didn't phone back & my local OPC said that two Turbo owners had their sports exhaust systems removed because they found them too loud !!One of them was a Cargraphic system. I followed a guy in an MX5 with a sports exhaust the other day & it sounded bloody awful, far too loud & maxpower. I want the car to sound louder on the inside but not like a Maxpower tractor from the outside,I intend to take my time on this one, to be sure.

Just wondering - would you get much of the money back that is spent on a sports exhaust when it comes to trade in/sale??

Cheers, Rico

You won't get any more with a sports exhaust, there is a good chance you will devalue the car a little as you have modified it,you would certainly be appealing to a smaller target audience.
That is why you tend to find a few sports exhaust advertised, the guys revert to standard spec to sell.I don't think a used sports system would generally be worth any more than 1/2 the purchase price.they are not about money they are about NOISE!!!
