$380k ish today. Probably about right given what the market has done since then…especially in the US. Although in GBP seller has probably got close to doubling his money.

Agreed, nice looking car, and assuming the history backs it up, good value

£35.5k for a 90k mile gen 1 997 with some Carlos Fandango wheels and and someone else's trinkets? That's bordering on decent get 2 997 money. Then if you're happy with something with 90k miles on it you can actually get a gen 2 cheaper;

It is 2010 so it is a gen 2

Lol

Not very PH of you - revising your opinion so quickly

I dont particularly like the wheels but easily changed. I'd be all about some 18 inch rims with chunkier tyres. Maybe even in a red colour.

The 991 Touring caught my eye, have I missed something but these used to trade in way above their winged counterparts, £130k seems like a hefty drop from where they were.

Private sale, LHD, imported from UAE and kmh speedo would all count against it in the UK market. Post-Brexit you can't easily flip it to Europe without paying a load of extra taxes.

Cheapest on AT is 150 privately or 200 from a dealer for a UK RHD car.

I have to say I now find the site very hard to use. Three Porsches I have been interested in recently.

It seems if they don't think the service history will help so they don't post it, you then have to ask for it which takes days and then when they do post the owners say I don't know how to post it and then if It does finally go up it's incomplete.

Then if they don't like the look or the timings of the service history they say car was last serviced at x miles (could have been 1990) with no mention of who did it..So you have to ask, again.

Then they don't school the sellers in answering questions so days go by, you would think you take the trouble and cost to have you car photographed why not go the whole hog and tell the sellers they will get a better price if they remain diligent in helping buyers understand more about their 'pride and joy'

I have now decided to use respected dealers only or private ads with vast amounts of info from a clearly passionate owner.

It works for trade where there are virtually the same two bidders on EVERY car who can knock it out by patching it or the history up but for the enthusiast it's become hard work....
Agreed and if I was wanting to sell a well maintained Porsche on CC would scan all invoices for service/maintenance and also photograph the underside. If there are no photos of the underpinnings I would assume the worst and bid accordingly.

Mega bargain at £32k (inc fees)

Market appears to be in a mess and getting worse.

Agree mind, even with the car market tanking that looked a good buy at 32k, makes the 50k retail ones looks expensive.

Loved my 987 boxster, it was a great car.
Could be this car, same mileage, still cheap.

My comments have been removed so the above won't make much sense.

I will say though, yes, that's the same Spyder on CC and then for sale at Imperials. Looks punchy for this market tbh.

The car that sold last year with folding buckets was similar value.

Side note did anyone see what the Cayman GTS PDK with 26k miles was bid up to? Last I saw it was £39k which seemed fair.

Interesting Boxster T
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2019-porsche-7...
On CC with mileage stated as 16,616 miles. Last service April 21 at 5,400 miles. I guess the 2nd 4 year service is overdue.
The same car on Project Khan website says 20,200 miles - which is it?

Love the wheels and the GT4 kit though
