Thanks they are getting more and more tempting
This is the problem when prices are falling. You never know if you should buy now or wait another month and see if they fall more.

992 turbo s must still have a long way to fall.

That must be a car you buy to enjoy as you can afford the depreciation, which you must of been aware of when buying it.

The number of 992 turbo s cars made i huge, must be the most profitable 992 for porsche.

Yes, it was revealed, as far back as the 996 era, that the Turbo models were the most profitable individual models to Porsche, and the base models the least profitable.

Similar would apply to the GTS models, which are essentially higher spec'd base models, with with a significant price margin.

This would be why, in the last few years, with the supply issues, Porsche put the emphasis on GTS production rather than Carrera or S.

Used car prices have fallen another 4.2% for the second month in a row as the valuations correction continues apace.

He (Mark Bulmer from trade price experts Cap HPI) explained the November drop follows a 4.2% fall in October meaning used cars have now plummeted 8.4% in the last two months alone...

Looking ahead to December and the new year, Bulmer said he thinks there are more falls to come.

Since Cap Live was introduced in 2012, December has experienced an average drop of just 1.3%, with the largest being 2.2% in 2014.

He added: ‘Everybody thinks that prices go up in January. In effect, they actually don’t, they tend to stay pretty much where they are and even move back slightly.

‘In January there could still be some pressure on values, maybe not moving down significantly, but definitely not going up.’
Wonder how long it will take to feed through to used Porsche prices more completely.

Hello

Couple of questions from Me. Just curiosity on my part. Not looking to dump 125k on this - well not right now!

Is this the standard location for the fire extinguisher. Because it looks to be a right pain for passengers. And does it fix above the foot mat like this. With the RS trying to shed weight I'm surprised they dont assume you can manage without mats.

Next is this door panel. It looks different to the standard 997 door panel. Is just for the RS?

Clubsport and RS door panels are different to the Comfort items. It’s an airbag “thing”.
996 and 997 Clubsport and RS extinguishers mounted exactly as per that image you’ve posted. And yes it is less than ideal for your passenger.

Thats this car isnt it? Why not just go and see the thing and make an offer? Very odd if it is the car.

Many cars put on CC as most folks know have some issues of sort.

I certainly would not buy there.

No consumer protection for buyers , exorbitant buyers fee and overall a very large risk for the buyer

If you ultimately reject the car you are out of pocket on the buyers fee.
Thats the bit I dont get

Hypothetically Im bidding on a 6 figure car:

I can pay £££ for an inspection beforehand and get outbid or I can pay for an inspection after the auction in which case Im liable for the CC fees if it shows issues leading to me pulling out

Ive probably missed something..............

Which either means

It is better for Sellers - if they have stuff to hide or are worried about what someone might find by inspecting their car
It is no good for Buyers

So why use the platform?

I thought this Cayenne S was a good buy at £34.5k ex fees (37k with), OPCs want 53k+ for a similar car and spec and AT indies are around 47k for the cheapest.

Indeed if it's a retail punter that's bought that I suspect they will be quite pleased with themselves, huge amount of car for the money.

Shows how little appetite there is in the trade to buy cars at the moment at that price point…everything I read says the cars under £10k are where all the demand is and everything else is dead.

To echo that - I went to look at a GT4 Lusso last week and they offered 23k trade in against my high spec 2017 Diesel S. not remotely the time to think about changing…..

Unsold at a final bid of 72k.
